The Caribbean WebGrrls is an organization to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, contacts, and technology between women in the Caribbean who are interested in new online media. Women that are interested in the Puerto Rico area can join us, Even though we are 2 separate chapters, we are together for now Our membership is open to women of all ages and technological skill levels. Although the group is in its infancy, we hope to develop mentoring/apprenticeship programs, gather a strong member base of talented and creative women, and develop a network of contacts with Internet service providers, new media firms, non-profit organizations and graphic design companies to achieve our goals.
