he is a gentleman first and foremost and a hopeless romantic as well. As far as his zodiac symbol is concerned, He is

you find anything particularly fancy up here. Until it is upgraded with things such as his picture and other
things, it will constantly be under construction.

gently kissing your delicate hand}

A Door Into My Soul:
- POETRY
By nature, I am a hopeless romantic who takes pride in the fact that there seem to only be a few,
select romantics left within my age group. Many a time I have heard people say that romance and love are
dead. This is not true. Most people have only yet to experience either. Others choose not to embrace what
love & romance together can be. Simply put, you need only to look into the heart and soul of the right person to
find all that you may have ever wanted. Through poetry, I feel that I can express what I personally feel
the essence of romance is. Most of my works are in the form of scenarios and romantic poetry that paint
pictures of ideal romantic situations. None of which are meant to be lewd or inappropriate. Rather, in depth detail
is used in order to provide a better picture of what is going on. Additionally, my poetry tends to focus on romance
among African American people. This is due to the fact that I am African American and am heavily grounded within
the culture and essence of my people. However, I have come to the realization that love is a universal concept and cannot
be limited to one particular group of people. As a result, I am attempting to expand the scope of my work.
When dealing with the concept of what love is, I find that a vast number of people do not fully understand how to
define it. While in truth, it does not have one particular definition, I have tried my best to define it. In my
opinion, love can be defined as follows:
Love is a heart-felt emotion of inexplicable depth that resides not only within the heart, but also the soul of the
person who is fortunate enough to be able experience it. Its essence compels us as people to soar to new heights of
nobility in terms of our character and enables us to reach, or even exceed, our potential for greatness; allowing us to
engage in uncharacteristic acts of bravery, selflessness and compassion. It is the willingness of a person to give so
greatly of themselves, that they will be willing to sacrifice themselves to ensure either the safety
or happiness of the one they love... Love is the greatest gift that we as human beings can experience.
We need only to recognize it and find a person with whom we can truly share and experience it with...
- MUSIC: The True Food of Romance
As far as music is concerned, it is yet another means through which we as people can express ourselves. Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, and Classical types of music are
my primary choices. While I do listen to a minute amount of rap,I have found that there is an overwhelming amount of it that I cannot truly support. Many "artists" such as the late Tupac Shakur
and Notorious BIG have written songs wherein the lyrics are often excessivley offensive rude or innapropriate. The way I see it, you can only say, "N*gga, b*tch, h*e so many times and different ways
before it gets played out. Don't get me wrong. I do not have anything personal against rap music, the artists, or anyone who might listen to it. I just cannot personally
support it. I find calling women vulgar phrases and my fellow African American brethren N*ggas; words that our people have worked too hard to not to have to hear over that last century,
to be unappealing. That does not, however, mean that I cannot appreciate other, more positive forms rap in some way as a type of music. I find that rap is often some of the best music to dance to or perhaps relieve
a little tension that may have come about as a result of the stress each of us endures daily in our lives. This, I can tolerate. However, because of the nature of the overwhelmingly popularized "gangsta" or "hard core" rap,
I don't find that I can often find enough positive rap to really listen to. This is mainly due to the fact that my personality is that of a quieter and romantic nature. Therefore, I do not often find myself listening to it all that much.
Some of my favorite R&B artists include:
- {} Toni Braxton
- {} Luther Vandross
- {} Johnny Gill
- {} Eric Benet
- {} Kenny Lattimore
- {} Kenny G
- {} Blackstreet
- {} Dru Hill
- {} Intro
- {} SWV
- Additional Hobbies & Interests
As far as my other activities are concerned, I enjoy mountain bike riding, swimming, stepping, reading and playing the occasional video game.
For the time being, I regret that this will conclude the tour. Because of the fact that this page is new and dynamic, it will
ALWAYS BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!I have not had the opportunity to put a picture of myself up yet and it will probably be a while before I can,
so until then, Remember, that the gift of romance does, indeed, await you. However, it can only truly be yours if you are willing to put aside your
fears and open your heart to all that it can be. Should you ever have a need of me, do not hesitate to summon me.....
