New and revealing information
from an ancient source!

These images are found throughout the world in various forms. The largest known depiction of an image of a Serpent and egg is now destroyed. The three mile long serpent at Avebury, in England was best rendered by Stukeley in 1740. The numerous standing stones were used for building materials without regard to the fact they were part of an ancient complex with true pre-historic value. The scale of the monument was tremendous. It is near Stonehenge and part of the same complex. Avebury is at least a thousand years older than Stonehenge.

An American example of the Serpent exists in southern Ohio and is called an effigy mound. It was made out of what called ash cement and was constructed to insure longevity. It is at least a thousand years old but probably much older. Some dating has been done on artifacts buried in the mound, but these items were buried long after the mound was originally constructed. No one knows who originally built the structure and until now, no one knew what the serpent and egg design was supposed to mean. Some ideas have been offered but these fanciful guesses are unsupported by meaningful reference. No inquiry to Native Americans was ever possible because they were all gone before the first American settlers arrived.

In 1985 a discovery was made by Vincent Yoder in Inyo County, California of a device that seemed to note the exact day of the equinox. Ten years later, Margaret Dawson, an artist from Lone Pine recognized the device to actually be an image created from sunlight and animated by the suns motion to be a serpent or snake eating an egg. This animated display explains for the very first time the true meaning the ancient People assigned to these images.
