Hello everyone, and welcome to my home page. I am a high school student in the Boston area. To find out more about me, click here. The three main topics of this page are politics, geography/history, and poetry.
Throughout the years, I have written numerous page-long social studies essays. To learn about Thomas Jefferson, read The Intellectual Accomplishments of Thomas Jefferson. For an overview of Africa's geography, read Africa: An Essay on it's Climates and Landforms. For information on Chinese philosophers, read my essay The Opinions of Chinese Philosophers Applied to Life Today. To find out about the history of apartheid in South Africa, read Apartheid in South Africa. I have also written a paper on Warren Harding, the 29th President of the U. S. One of my longest reports is on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I have also written a report on the Kingdom of Lesotho, a small country in Africa.
I don't have an opinion on every political issue, but there are a few that I feel strongly about. One of those issues is capital punishment, or the death penalty.
Because of recent violent crimes involving guns, the subject of gun control has been getting a lot of attention. However, I felt strongly about this issue before those crimes took place. I am currently working on a gun control essay, to be posted here.
Incongruous with my other interests though it may be, I am also interested in poetry. I both read and write many forms of poetry. One of my favorite forms of poetry is the haiku. I have some haikus that I have written here.
I also enjoy writing humorous limericks. I have here some limericks that I have written.
More often, however, I write standard rhyming poems, usually with four lines per stanza. I have a list of such poems that I have written and decided to post on my page.
This page is always being worked on. To go to a list of things that I hope to finish soon, go to my Coming Soon page.
