The Purpose of this page is to gather information. I have published information both on this page and on the internet to, hopefully, jolt someones memory which in turn will benefit my own research.
My grandfather, Michael John Gargano was born in Italy [ Sicily/Naples] in 1884. He immigrated with his parents to the United States in 1887. He died in 1915 and was buried at the Rosedale Lincoln, Linden NJ. He married Anna Barbara Vroome and had four children : John Michael Gargano,b:27/3/1909,d:22/3/1969;Alice May Gargano,b:17/5/1910,d:16/1/82; Robert Gargano,b:10/8/1911,d:10/7/1980; adopted Allan Morrow /Gargano,b:14/2/?.
My father Robert Gargano came to Australia after serving in the marines in WW2, he married Edna May Norman and had three children, she also remarried {Dowdle} when I was 4yrs old : Robert Allen Gargano, b:26/7/1946; Michael Allen Gargano, b:14/9/1948, d:1948; David Michael Gargano, b:27/11/1950.

If you would like to see what we do with our lives and the beautiful place we call home (Click Here). We live in an alpine valley in the south eastern corner of Queensland Australia.We have a lot of animals and the wildlife is quite prolific. There are over 75 different species of birds and several native animals in the area. We are surrounded by National Parks in which Dingoes,Foxes Kangaroos, Koalas and others live. I have posted pictures of our farm and some of the animals there.
