I am a Senior Lecturer in Development Studies at the Auckland Institute of Technology, and have taught there since 1993.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in History and Political Studies, a Master of Arts degree with First Class Honours in History, and a Master of Philosophy degree with First Class Honours in Development Studies.
My specialty areas of research are on the Treaty of Waitangi (1840) and New Zealand colonial history.
