Inside we are all children who love to climb trees

Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved to read....she would read all day long and by torchlight under the bed covers during the night. Her favourite book was The Magic Faraway tree and she truly believed in the magic of the story. She would spend her time searching the trees for Silky and Moonface and the noisy but loveable Saucepan man. She knew in her heart that one day she would find this wondrous tree and she would climb to the very top and pass through the clouds into new and exciting worlds. She is all grown up now but that little girl still lives on in her heart and from time to time when she is walking with her best friend down the street she can be seen gazing thoughtfully up into the trees.

"Hi my name is Toto...l am an 18 month old Cairn Terrier.l was born in the United Kingdom and l chose my human,Shirlene, when l was just 7 weeks old. She is ok as far as human's go...actually she is just like a mummy to me.She has some funny ideas though, for example she loves taking me to obedience school. Very odd when everyone knows that Cairns only do what they want to do...l love to give her that "make me" look when she gives me a command. None the less, l do perform for her (well l figure if it makes her happy...then why not). Actually l have won a trophy ina recent competition...wish my human had of put that photo on here.Her ultimate ambition is to enter me into agility trials...you know the jumping jumps etc.. thing. Well l wish she'd get on with it as it sounds a lot more exciting than all this heel and sit stay nonsense. Oh and just for the record when we are walking down the street and gazing thoughtfully into the trees...it is possums l am looking for...not new and exciting worlds. But don't tell her as l would hate to spoil her dreams"

I have onlyjust arrived here and very new to the art of building a virtual home, so please bepatient :))Who am I ??Well l am a 32 (almost 33) Australian woman.I am a Cancerian...born on June 22 1965.I work as a Registered Nurse.My interests are; reading, writing poetry with dreamsof one day writing a book, drawing, taking myToto to obedience school, playing the ocarina andthe Irish tin whistle (neither of which l play well),golf and up until recently field hockey.My dream is to become a full time writer...so maybe apart of me will live on long after l am gone.
