Globus Consultant / UAT Testing Specialist (Contractor) Globus Relaunch Project Implementation and UAT testing of Globus V13 with STP. Assignments including UAT testing , writing test scripts, configuration / raising change requests, discussing issues with Users, implementation strategy, project planning, assignment of man days to bugs found, liaison with developers, UAT Testing of difficult areas like the Globus Balance sheet and Profit and loss statements. Raised around 50 change requests. Successfully tested full end to end STP for both CHAPS and SWIFT, with over 10,000 CHAPS payments / day.
Globus Balance sheet, Profit and loss Statement and MFSD Report (Accounting)
STP SWIFT/CHAPS / TARGET Payments successfully implemented.
Performance Testing I did performance testing on the SWIFT and CHAPS payment systems, which involved running through thousands of payments per hour (I think 6000 / hour was the max). I did this using the PAIGEN simulator, a program which allows you to run in text files containing simulated payments. In addition, the same file can loop, to create high speed payments continuously loaded in the system. In addition, while this was running, people would input trades manually, and MM transactions / FX transactions would be done on the system, and other processes would run simultaneously, to represent a heavy days work. This was all successful. During the performance testing, I discovered a number of bugs in the system, such as MISSING PAYMENTS. Standing Orders · Testing the Globus standing orders module. Gold Bullion · Tested the Reuters gold price feed / Gold valuation on Globus Balance sheet and various modules involving gold deposits, Fixed term XAU deposits. FX and Exotics · Tested Globus FX transactions / GLobus FX modules. Money Market Loans/ Deposits · Tested Globus MM functions / Loans / Deposits. Reconciliation / Settlement Tested reconciliation and settlement function in Globus and related apps. GLOBUS GAI POD Files · Tested the Globus receiving of POD Files FS Manager / MERCATOR interface to Globus. Tested Mercator (Middleware) functionality Online Banking Tested Online Banking modules CLS - Continuous Linked Settlement System Tested the Banks CLS payment Engine. The CLS payment system is a worldwide real time settlement system for FX trades. Over 1 billion GBP per day in payments through the CLS / Bank of England.

Wrote change request specifications for the e-banking portal and Siebel. Specifications included design in PowerPoint of online statements for corporate actions, fund transfer, broker transactions, etc. Data was mapped from Globus across to the client portal.
