Hi! How are you doing? Good I hope. Well, I'm not completely clear why I have set up this page.. I guess I just wanted to share somethings with you guys about myself and what I love.
Hi! I'm Fields L. Venetzia (yep, I'm part Italian). I live in Midland, TX, and when I'm not hanging out with my friends, driving around the state or coutry, rock climbing or mountain biking in new mex, or working, I am at home asleep. :-)
When I was sixteen, I got a job, saved some money, moved out of my mom's house, moved in with my best buds Natalie and Liz, and starting fonting songs with Natalie (she's the lead singer and guitar player in a folk band) and learning how to play bass from Liz (she's the bass player in Nat's band:). I came "out," as it were, (I'm bisexual) when I was 17, and it's like 5 billion pounds were lifted off of my shoulders. People are still kinda freaked out about it when they find out, but, hey, that's their problem, not mine. I really wish people would get over it..it's not like I'm telling them that I, like, am a serial killer.. I just happen to not care what sex or race a person is..it only matters to me if they are good people... but people rarely understand that.
Hmm..well, yeah,..so, it's only been 3 (almost 4,) years (since I moved out of my 'rents house).. not much has changed really, except I've made more friends all over the US when I travel with Nat & Co. to various locations (via an old green chevy van that smells of old leather with a vague hint of incense, pot, and dirty socks) around the US. That has been pretty amazing..is there anything better than driving across country and then back again? I haven't found it yet...someone drop me a line and let me know! :-) I'm also a little better at playing the bass, but I would never have the balls (haha..literaly!)to get on a stage and prove it.
The newest development, I suppose, would be the fact that I'm starting college (community, quality education!) in September and hopefully, I will be able to go to UT at Austin in a couple of years to study whatever it is that I decide to study... for a while there, I was actually contemplating becoming a history teacher. Can you imagine? I would have killed myself after five years. Now, though, I have no clue what I want to do.. what is it that people do anyway? How do you get to work for great organizations like PETA or GreenPeace or NOW? I really wish I knew what one studies to aquire a position at a place like that..cuz that would rock! Ah well, maybe some day someone will clue me in, or I'll have an epiphoney and know exactly who and what I want to be. Until then though, I'm having a blast driving around, setting up amps, working the boards on soundchecks, and getting into see great music for free!
I am twenty years old, I was born in Houston, TX....and I..hmm... well, I grew up!

"Contact,"

even the ugly ones :-)

15. Janean Garofalo
I think she is so funny,
makes me laugh my ass off everytime I see her old stand up routines..
her movies are pretty great too.

she is an amazing actress,
and, not that this really matters, but,
she is really cute too! :-)

trippy, surreal..what else could you ask for?
18. Griping at conservative idiots
who swallow the shit from their wonderful think tanks & speakers
(ie, rush limbaugh, pat robertson, the "christian" coalition)
19. Freaking out religious people
when I tell them I'm bisexual..
that is really funny..
just to see their face.. :-)
20. Learning the true plan of the Christian Coalition
and other wonderful things like the Promise Keepers
and then trying to tell as many people that I can that
they are sick, nazi/fascist, racist idiots who
are hell bent on turning the world into Hitler's wet dream.
21. John Lennon
22. Candles
for some reason,
I am compelled to buy votive candles everytime
I walk past the candle isle at Target
...a bit neurotic perhaps
23. Trees
I suppose I'm your basic evil tree hugger.
my Fav tree thus far (and for a few years now) is the weeping willow,
it's so beautiful, but I love almost every type of tree...
especially the willow, redwood, and oak trees.
Don't really care for the pine trees though, but on the whole,
conifers are pretty cool.
24. CoRn
yeah, the food..
it's so tasty, and versatile..like
the perfect food (I'm a bit strange I suppose)

(ancient history in general really)

&Voltaire's
philosophies.
26. Philosophy
in general..
but mostly metaphysics and existentialism
(as studies anyway)

GreenParty
or a "greeny," it is an amazing political movement.
I'm also a member of
PETA,
another great org.
28. Banana chips
love these things
...I could eat them all day long.
29. Nuts
--walnuts, pecans, kashews,
and almost every type of nut there is.
(I know people will take that wrong..so,
the kind of nuts that you get off of a tree & eat okay?)
30. Venice, Italy
I have only been to Venice twice
(to visit my grandmother)
but it is the most amazing place I have ever seen.
My last name is an adapted spelling of "venezia"
a couple of my pics of it are at the bottom of the page.
31. All of my very close friends:
(Nat, Liz, Summer, Sari, Andi, Marc, Brian, Kay,
Aunna, Jeff, Bastian, Theresa, Jinny, Robin J., Meetchie, & yep, even you Alex) hehe :-)
Couldn't ask for better people to be sourrounding you man, they are all just so amazing.
