Katamaran is a relief and development organisation working towards building a better society. By providing relief, community health care, education, social justice, and counseling, Katamaran helps people overcome poverty and live in dignity and security. Providing local human service programs and opportunities for individual and community involvement.

Who We Are

Founded in Chennai in 2003 for the destitute, Katamaran helps children and provide relief, community development and advocacy for the poor in India.

One of the main focuses of Katamaran is among children, because they are the symbol of a healthy society. It also concentrates in building hope, tolerance and social justice.

Working in many districts in the state of Tamil Nadu in India, Katamaran is one of the dynamic NGO’s in the country today.

From rural to inner-city neighborhoods, Katamaran provides outreach programs that deal with today’s most pressing social needs.
