RULES

League Formation: The Wide Right Fantasy Football League (WRFFL) consists of twelve franchises. The twelve franchises are divided into three divisions, the East Division, the Central Division, and the West Division. For the schedule, the teams will play a fourteen-week regular season and a two-week playoffs in the championship bracket and a three-week playoff in the Toilet Bowl bracket. To minimize the chance of NFL playoff–bound teams resting players in Week 17, the Hail Mary Bowl (the championship game) is played on Week 16.

Drafting: Draft day will be held on any day which every team can be represented. The original draft order will be chosen at random before the draft. There are fifteen rounds of drafting. The draft order goes as follows: 1-12, 12-1, 1-12 etc... Any team may draft any player at any position. Each team must have a minimum of eight players on their roster at all times. The maximum amount of players permitted on a roster at any one time is fifteen.

Starting Lineups:

Each Starting Lineup consists of the following:

1 Quarterback, 2 Running Backs, 3 Receivers (WR or TE), 1 Place Kicker and 1 Defensive Unit. All starting lineups must be emailed to the commissioner. On weeks when the first NFL game is on a Sunday, the lineup must be in Sunday at 11:30am or an hour and a half before the scheduled kickoff of the first game that day (whichever is earlier). If there is a Saturday game, lineups must be in by Saturday an hour and a half before the scheduled kickoff of the first NFL game. The same rule applies with Thursday games. If you do not email the commissioner with a new starting lineup, you will automatically start the same lineup as you used the previous week.

Trading: All teams that are involved in the trade must email the commissioner about the trade. All trades completed before Saturday at 11:30pm Eastern will be ready for the Sunday games. If there is a Saturday game, all trades must be completed by Friday Night at 11:30pm Eastern for them to be ready for Saturday’s games and the weekends game as well. The same rule applies for Thursday games. Free Agent Draft Picks are equivalent to players and may be traded as such. In any lopsided trades (2 for 1 deals), the team getting more players than it’s giving up must email the commissioner at the same time whom they are dropping if the trade puts them over the allowable limit. The trading deadline is always the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at 11:30pm Eastern.

Bye Week Rule: No team(s) may make a trade and reverse the trade at a later date in an attempt to try to "get around" the bye weeks. Any team(s) involved in these acts will automatically forfeit that week’s game.

Free Agency: When a team drops a player during Free Agent meetings, that player becomes a free agent. There will be a free agent before the first week. The order is the draft order reversed. After that, the order will be from fewest points scored to most points scored. After that, free agents drafts will be available at a maximum once a week by requesting one to the commissioner. Again, the Free Agent draft uses 1-12 for the first round, 12-1 for the second and so on. If a team cannot attend the Free Agent draft, it is the owner’s responsibility to email the commissioner with the players and cuts (s)he wants to make. Only emails will be accepted as official free agent requests.

Commissioner’s Prerogative: The commissioner has the right to make all rulings not outlined in these rules and regulations The commissioner can rule on any issue not specified by the rules. The commissioner is always a nonparticipating body, and should not have any problems being impartial and objective.

Prizes: To enter the Wide Right Fantasy Football League, a franchise fee of $30 per season is to be paid in full before the Draft. The champion of the Hail Mary Bowl on Week 16 receives $175. The runner-up of the Hail Mary Bowl receives $50.
