HUMAN DESIGN, bring a 4,000 year old ancient acrobatic art form into modern times,
this powerful act comes to life on stage at Harrah's, in Dick Foster's production
of Imagine 2000. Human Desing has stunned audiences the world over, by executing seemingly impossible maneuvers and poses . The Duo is composed of gold medalist Slawek Kielbasinski and acrobat Kris Suszek. Human
Design presents a powerful performence of physical maneuvers that are executed with effortless grace, balance and agility.
The extraordinary Duo executes seemingly impossible maneuvers and poses with out any ropes
or wires. "People are always asking us if our act is a trick or an illusion. We are able to accomplish these difficult moves because of our extensive training", say's Slawek Kielbasinski.
Befor forming
Human Design in 1991. Kielbasinski, at 11 years of age, was chosen for Polands selective Training Program in Sports-Acrobatics. Kielbasinski represented Poland for more than
16 years. He has won more than a dozen
Sports-Acrobatics titles, as well as World Champion, whereby he received a Gold Medal in London. "I enjoyed competing, but I wanted to bring together a different kind of team, one that would show the artistic side of
acrobatics," said Kielbasinski. After competing for Poland, he immigrated to Canada, where he trained performers and performed as a featured artist for the famous Cirque Du Soleil.
"Slow motion acrobatics
are practiced by only a few groups in the world. I have always been facinated with this art form and as a group we are continually aspiring to develope new moves," said Suszek.
Prior to joining Human Design,
Suszek performed with Cirque du Soleil, "Mystere" in Las Vegas. Kris brings to Human Design his vast knowledge of hand balancing acrobatics. Kris too is a National & World Champion having won both titlesl with Slawek.
Human Design presents such an unbelievable display, audiences never seem to tire of their super human feats. The act is set to a majestic musical score. Each member is interdependent, being equally responsible for the
success of every feat of strength and balanced maneuver. As Time magazine recently noted, their "impressive" act continues to thrill audiences wherever they perform.
