Revival
Why didn't I see it?
Why didn't I look?
How'd I change my point-of-view?
Just look and see how long it took.
I was lost trapped in denial,
but she held out her arms, took me up,
and taught me how to smile.
Oh how thankful I will ever be,
to that angel who opened my eyes,
and let me see.
She showed me the world,
through her glossy eyes;
she took my hand and pulled me up,
and healed my solemn cries.
Love, love at last;
I thought I'd never find,
such a hypnotizing woman,
who could ever be so kind.
I thought I was alone,
and convinced I was to die,
I thought that I would never love,
and would not dare to try.
Maybe I was wrong,
I may not be so bad,
and maybe, just maybe,
I have found that love,
I have never had.
