Whisperings and rumours of a Boyzone film have
been around forever, but now it seems it's really going to happen! Ronan
Keating announced a deal had been made
with major film company Universal Pictures to create the bio-pic. The Boyzone
film will trace the rise and rise of the
boyband, from their humble beginnings in Ireland to their international
adoration. It was
originally thought the Zoners would be
playing themselves, but apparently actors will be drafted in to take the
place of the
fab fivesome. This allows Shane, Ronan,
Stephen, Mikey and Keith to decide which heart throb thespian will depict
their
character! No doubt, everyone will be fighting
to have Brad Pitt act their part! One continued rumour is that U2's Bono
will
play Boyzone's manager, Louis Walsh, the
successful Svengali who has managed their career and is currently looking
after
Ronan and Samantha Mumba. Apparently, the
Zoners have been finding it difficult to piece the film together, as Ronan
admitted. "It's a true story so it's a
little bit close to the bone" the star said recently. So, if the boys begin
to resemble action
heroes in this biographical film, we'll
presume that they flowered the truth a little!
