Life was back to normal Friday for Irish pop star
Ronan Keating, a day after British police gave him an armed guard following
a threatening e-mail.
``The guard was just for yesterday,'' the Boyzone
star's spokeswoman Caroline McAteer told Reuters.
``Police are investigating the threat and life
for Ronan is as back to normal as can be,'' she added.
A ``sinister e-mail'' was sent to the singer's
Web page warning him that he would be killed at television studios in north
London where he was due to co-host a show Thursday, media reports said.
But while officers kept an eye on him during
his appearance on MTV's ``Select'' program, the armed police guard had
been called off by Friday.
Keating, 23, who also manages successful boy
band Westlife, currently has a single out titled ``Life is a Rollercoaster,''
which is expected to reach No. 1 on the British pop charts.
