Ronan Keating received a serious death threat yesterday and is now under police guard. The threat was sent via Ronan's
website where someone stated they would attempt to kill the ex-Boyzone singer at MTV studios, where he was scheduled to
 appear. Popsters are often the target of obsessed fans, but obviously this eerie email was viewed with more caution. Ronan
 bravely refused to cancel his gig knowing it would disappoint fans, although they were unable to view him from the usua
l studio that allows pop punters to see artist from the street below. Obviously, this full-view studio was a risk, so the filming
 was moved to a more secure place. Police searched MTV's offices and appointed officers to be at Ronan's side throughout
 the day. Even undercover officers were placed in the gathering crowd outside, just to ensure no one got to the Zoner. Life
 truly is a roller coaster for poor Ronan.
