Giraffe 

             Giraffes are the tallest land animals. Their long neck gives them access to leaves from the tops of thorny acacia trees that are beyond the reach of other browsers. They use their long tongue to grasp branches, then strip off leaves using their teeth. Giraffes live in troops of up to 12 animals, and are active for most of the day, only sheltering from the heat at midday.
