Drivin' Alone

The road's slow without you
By my side;
The hours slip on by...

What can I do to make the time speed by
Thinkin' of you without me makes me cry
Headlights and pavement seem to engulf me
Drivin' alone, the car seems so empty
All by myself, the car is so empty.

     Another mile without you, honey
     What am I to do?
     I can't go on much further, baby...
     I want to get to you

     All I want to do is hold you,
     And hug you in my arms;
     Forget about the time I spent here
     In this lonely car....

     Still another hour drags on;
     Many more to go.
     I turn the dial yet still hear our song
     Oh, I miss you so...

     All I want to do is hold you,
     And hug you in my arms;
     Forget about the time I spent here
     In this lonely car....

The road's slow without you
By my side;
The hours slip on by...

What can I do to make the time speed by
Thinkin' of you without me makes me cry
Headlights and pavement seem to engulf me
Drivin' alone, the car seems to empty
All by myself, the car is so empty.
