| The diagram at left shows how the Deidan Cartridge Dust Collector works. During operation, dirty air enters through either a top or a side inlet and moves in a downflow direction through the filter cartridges. The dust is collected on the outer surfaces of the filters and the clean air flows through the center of the cartridges and discharges through the clean air outlet. In order to clean the filter cartridges, a burst of compressed air acts like a shock wave, which dislodges the dirt from the cartridges. The removed dirt is then collected into the hopper below and can be easily removed. |
