HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHS

MOVING DAY!!  We moved into a big, empty house, but after things got moved in, we had a small, full house.  Easy come, easy go, I guess.

The living room...with nothing.

This would be the future family/TV room.  The mattress triples as a bed as well as a laptop cart and computer chair.

Our second of three furniture delivery days.  Can you guess?  The dining room.  The kitchen is right behind me.  God, what a mess.  It's hard to believe our house once looked like this.

Our kitchen island just before we put the track lighting in our kitchen.  Our kitchen looks good now.  It didn't then.

The kitchen ceiling just before our track lighting.  The red ends on the wires are obviously wire caps.

Our kitchen track lighting.  Doesn't it look so much better?  We finished this job at about 12:30AM, and I remember that because I had just seen Jekyll & Hyde up in Brigham City before I helped put this stuff in.  My dad and I went to bed close to 1:30 that morning.  Blech.

Our almost-finished family room.  Quite a task wiring 7 speakers plus a subwoofer, plus hiding the wires so you can't see them easily.  Our family room looks a lot different now, though.  To the right is my bedroom, and behind me is the stairs to go up to the dining area.

Want to see the rest of the after photos?  Here you go.

Here's our family room, finished, almost.  The walls are bare, but it's coming along.

Our living room, the front door is to my immediate left.

The rest of the living room, with my favorite part of the house, the piano.

Our finished kitchen.  Our improvements include track lighting, a new dishwasher, and a new gas range.

Here's the dining area overlooking the living area.

My brother's room.  He's very proud of it, and so am I.

My dad's office.  Quite busy, wouldn't you say?  The piece of furniture trying to creep into the picture in the back is my dad's very comfortable futon.  It's also a very "roomy" room.  Quite pleasant to be in, actually.
