Mission Statement
NHPS advances research, education and the practical application
in personal naturopathic health promotion.

Philosophy
1. The human body possesses enormous powers to health itself through the mechanism of homeostasis - restoring balance in structure and function and adapting it to environmental changes. This vital force, the "vis medicatrix naturae", is the foundation of the philosophy and practise of naturopathic health promotion. In naturopathic health promotion, therapeutic substances and techniques are imployed that act in harmony with the body's self-healing processes. Techniques and treatments are designed not to counteract or supervene the healing process. Naturopathic health methodology are applied as a means of assisting and augmenting this "healing power of nature". This is the philosophical ideology and priciples of this organization.
2. We believe that all individuals have the right to information and practical assistance in personal health promotion, no matter how controversial.
3. The freedom of choice of practitioner and non-toxic and drugless therapeutics.
