The different enemies are interesting, and some of the training methods are as well.     It's kinda cool that these writers can find new ways to say that one creature becomes more powerful than the Z fighters, and Goku cannot help them until it's too late, and even then it's a struggle.  The sagas all follow the same pattern of events, but it never gets too old, just annoying since it drags on for so long.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Style: Action/Comedy</B></div> <div> Just wait, I'm a little tired, phew.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Ch. Seasons 3+: Unexperienced, but they try hard.... to copy the voices from Seasons 1 and 2!  The androids sounded like humans, or am I confused?  At least they decided not to let all of the androids have robotic voices like 16 and 19.  On the other side, at least the voices of Trunks, 17, 18, and Chibi Trunks are good!  Well, by Chibi Trunks, I mean the one that was a baby.  I have yet to hear the kid version, and I hope it's good.</div> <bR> <div> *UPDATE-9/22*</div> <div> I have now heard Chibi Trunks and Goten.  Yep, pretty good, and teen Gohan is slightly worse than what I had hoped, but better than what I had feared.  </div> <bR> <div> <B>Dub Music:</B> </div> <div> Dumbass and Dumbass.  Why do they have to replace it?  Not everyone is too fond of faked rock music!  </div> <bR> <div> *UPDATE-9/22*</div> <div> I really hate that "song."  It could easily make you want the old "Rock the Dragon" theme.  Sure, it made no sense, but it's more pleasing to the ears in my opinion.  And I sure as hell wonder why they don't change the music after what I call the second phase of DBZ, Gohan as a teen.  </div> <bR> <div> <B>Dub Lines:</B> </div> <div> He's stuck in another dimension/the other world/ HFIL.  The Narrator says some lines that are so cheezy, that (can't think of witty way to say that he's super cheezy).  Some of the lines gets really repetititve, like, I think Vegeta must have said "this is madness" more than he had to.  Also, Klilyn seems to love saying "this is nuts."  That's some of the worst I had to bear, but the lines in the Ocean Dub were better.  Sure, they had to say HFIL and another dimension, and I see his parachute, and its Sunday, so those buildings are empty, and I love soap operas, but those are the only dumb things I can think of.  All of those lines are the only ones I can think of, but Seasons 3 and 4 just swarmed with them.  Seriously, I think they made Freezer more homosexual than Ocean did; he said to Goku, "whatever turns your on!"  What the HFIL (gomen!) was that?!</div> <bR> <div> <B>*UPDATE-9/22</B></div> <div> So... many... american... cliches.... can't... stand... it.... RELIEF!  I NEED RELIEF!  SAVE ME!!</div> <div> *cough* Seriously, I get so tired of it.  I don't see the need to do such a thing; it makes DBZ much less serious than it is, and in the Saiyaman saga, it's not even that serious!  Damn it sucks... so much.  And to you dumbass newbies and dubbies who think the following phrase, that I can't even do better so shut up, I bet I could do much better with a small collection of people around the neighborhood and someone who can translate Japanese.  *holds eyelid in place, sticks out tongue* nyaaaaah!</div> <bR> <div> <B>Censorship:</B> Censorship of blood and good music and good lines.  Also any Japanese text is either painted over, or the scene it was in was skipped.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> Ah, DBZ, the perfect example of both an anime and a bad dubbing job.  all the best qualities of DBZ are completely and thoroughly ruined by FUNimation.  They thought they could handle an anime, and they got the king of action animes.  How the hell did they get dubbing rights?  I would feel MUCH safer with Pioneer in charge.  And why did they air it on Kids WB?  That started the whole censorship thing along with SABAN, who is known to have spawned the piece of crap we call Power Rangers.  FUNimation obviously made horrible decisions, but then they say it was SABAN's fault, then they finally make a return which turns out to be a much bigger PILE of crap!  Damn these dumbasses!  Also, they have no control over merchandising, so before people were even introduced to a super-saiyan, they had Chibi Trunks action figures!  But that is beside the point.  If you don't know what DBZ is about, ... okay I'll humor you.  It's about these guys who defend the universe from evil beings bent on A: Domination, or B: Destruction for no reason.  There's more to it, but that's pretty much the main idea.  </div> <bR> <bR> <div> That's my story and I'm sticking to it.</div> <bR> <div> </div> <div> Ori</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
