CD review:
Rage Against The Machine:
Renegades
First toughts: "Hmm...this
sounds like pure ratm, but these are covers, well How I could just kill
a man lyrics are pure Cypress Hill."
After all this is more funky than the albums before. The punk songs sound
good too. I like this album very much, not the best of ratm, but good! The Bruce
Springsteen cover The ghost of Tom Joad is good! In this album are
cover songs from such bands as: Bruce Springsteen and MC5, to Cypress Hill. The
last album of ratm ever, but i hope that not! Rage Against the Machine is the best
band in the whole world, that's my opinion! Last album with Zack de la
Rocha...hope they still continue and i hope that Zack will release his own stuff
too! Will they replace Zack with someone?...
For the songs: there are totally different kinds of tracks in this album,
there's the fast Kick out the jams and the slow and not very ratm-kind-of
song Beautiful World. All tracks are good...no bad track on this album
and the two live tracks are good too! Rage Against the Machine is great live
band!
Best track on the album: How could i just kill a man -live featuring B-Real
and Sen Dog from Cypress Hill
The best album this year...or the second best...there's always The Battle of
Los Angeles. At least the best cd reviewed on silent69.com that's for sure!
