Makoto is a wonderful character. She's very hostile when we first meet her, but it becomes obvious it's because of internal struggles. She's a Saggitarius, which are said to be ruled by their hearts. She's extremely caring, kind, and loyal once you get past her outer shell. Probably the reason she has such a hostile demeanor is because of her parents' death in a plane accident. Also why she has trouble with airplanes. Sailor Jupiter is modeled after Greek and Roman mythology. Most people know about Zeus from Greek mythology, the King of the Gods. His Roman counterpart is Jupiter, or Jove. ^_^ Zeus/Jupiter do a lot of thunderbolt-throwing, as most know. His signs are the eagle, the oak tree (heeey!), the royal scepter, and the thunderbolt! Actually, Makoto is the closest to my personality. I'm extremely loyal to my friends, and even have a bit of that outer shell of hostility. I also love guys, but I'm not as ditzy as Minako about it. ^_^ She'd be 22 this year, as she was born in 1977. Makoto is also known for her awesome cooking. She's usually the one to have extra food in her lunch and have to share it with Usagi, who has forgotten her lunch AGAIN. >.< She'll bring snacks to their study group, too. Much to Ami's displeasure at the distraction. ;)
