Zones indicate normal area of responsibility.

Remember that players can replace each other: for example, if the center chases a player to a point area, the wing in that zone then "replaces" the center in the zone he was in.

-guard net from post furthest from puck

-head on a swivel

-watch for defense "super-pinch" which overloads us

-watch for one-side or behind-net overload

-remember: slot area is #1 priority: clear rebounds and tie up trailers
