By placing an order and confirming payment on the website or via telephone to Matoki Bikes you agree a contract with us in accordance with terms and conditions of sale. Purchasing can be via the internet, post or by visiting our workshop in North Dorset (by appointment only).

All goods are sold subject to availability. If for any reason an item is out of stock, then we will only ship the available goods and your payment will be debited with the value of the despatched goods rather than the whole order value. We will not supply substitute products without contacting you first.

The price of the goods shall be the price listed on our website on the date of your order inclusive of any VAT which may be payable by you. All prices displayed on the web site are quoted in UK pounds sterling, and must be paid for in full including packing and delivery charges.

All our restored bikes and scooters come fully serviced.

Unrestored bikes and scooters come as they are. They should be assumed to be mechanically sound and running with no dents (unless otherwise stated).

Restored bikes and scooters are complete and ready to ride. No work on either bodywork or engine should be required (unless otherwise stated). Basically they are ready to drive away.

All restored bikes and scooters come complete with club certification and 12 months MOT.

Payment may be made by any of the methods listed below. Goods will not be shipped unless payment is received in full. Payment is authorised immediately upon transaction of your card details. We will not debit your payment method until the goods are ready for shipping unless for a deposit on orders as described in ordering section below.

Payments made by cheque will need to be banked and cleared through the Matoki Bikes account. Upon successful clearance of the cheque, the goods paid for will be shipped. All cheques are to be made payable to Matoki Bikes.

We are happy to take payment by Cheque, Postal Order or Bankers Draft.

Cash in person upon collection of vehicle or spares.

Cash balance on delivery of vehicle deducting deposit already paid.

Payment via internet PayPal using either a credit or debit card. Simply click on the "Buy Now" button and follow instructions.

Delivery will be to the address given when your order is placed. We will make every effort to deliver promptly but cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience arising from failing to delivery promptly, factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside our control. We strongly advise that if the goods are required for a specific date they are ordered in advance to avoid any disappointment. All goods are sent via Royal Mail whose prices are available via our website. Risk of damage or loss shall pass to you at time of delivery to the specified delivery address.

Delivery of complete bikes or scooters will be made within the UK by our delivery crew in our own vans. The cost of delivery will be dependent on where and when delivery is to be made. Prices for this will be given in order confirmation. If you would like to collect or arrange your own delivery then please let us know when ordering.

We will treat each order of goods which is confirmed when you click on the "Buy Now" or "Order Now" buttons in the purchase screen, as an offer by you to purchase the goods and services subject to these Terms and Conditions.

We shall supply you subject to availability with the quantity and the specification of goods set out in your order. We shall confirm each order by email and such confirmation shall be our acceptance of the contract between us.

Orders for vehicles not in stock will require a 25% deposit paid upon placing the order. This deposit is refundable until order confirmation has been despatched to customer. Cancellation after this point will result in the loss of the deposit to cover the cost of shipping and storage.

Matoki Bikes wants you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order we will refund the value of the goods supplied, provided that you first notify us of your intention to cancel, and that the goods together with the original invoice are returned to Matoki Bikes in perfect condition to the address specified on the invoice within 7 working days after the day of delivery.

A certificate of posting should be obtained as we cannot be held responsible for the non delivery of goods to our address without it. Your right to cancel does not apply to items that have been used or fitted by you. You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. Matoki Bikes will repay you the value of the goods without any further charge to you once they have been received at our address in good condition.

In the unlikely event your goods arrive in a damaged condition or are defective you must inform us as soon as is practically possible, stating the invoice number and the nature of the defect or shortage. Failure to do so will deem that you have accepted the goods. The goods should be returned to Matoki Bikes as described in our 'Returns Policy' above. If for any reason a replacement is not available for a damaged or defective item, then we will refund the value of the returned goods to the original payment method.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. Matoki Bikes is a privately owned business.

Your staturory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions relating to faulty or mis-described goods. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local authority standards department or citizens advice bureau.
