THE LATEST CONTRUCTION UPDATES.....
The new Arena that will be built behind the Koger Center (in the vista area) is scheduled to be completed in 2002.  Seating capacity of approximately 19,000.  The Coliseum will not be removed.

The Strom Thurmond Fitness and Wellness Center is scheduled for completion in January 2003.  The cost of the facility will be approximately $44 million.

The groundbreaking for the Greek Village is scheduled to take place in September 2000. Our master plan display will be updated soon to reflect the changes at Thomas Cooper Library, and to add the Greek Village.
