High school in Denmark is definitely more interesting than in Yellowknife... School trips a plenty... this is the first one... as well as a mini exchange. I lived with a family that was very religious... in fact the father was a priest or something(My memory is fading...) They were a very nice family... and my host sister there was very cool. (Her english wasn't that good... so it really helped me increase my danish... I was forced to speak it!)
The Jysk dialect of Danish is nice and slow and mellow... perfect for the beginner... after learning danish in the fast Kbenhavnsk dialect I found I could easily understand the people of Jutland. (It also helped to build my confidence in my speaking abilities which in turn helped me improve my danish... very nice)
Here are the pics from the little mini exchange...
