Maron transforms into the master thief Kaitou Jeanne to steal many valuable items.. But actually she is not stealing the items. Jeanne is trying to capture the forces of the devil, who have started to take over some of the beautiful paintings and rare pieces of art, in order to take over the hearts of humans. BUT Jeanne has a rival...Sinbad. Sinbad is the Devils advocate but she ends up falling in love with him. Sinbad is Chiaki Nagoya and Jeanne is Kusakabe Maron! It clicks. But of course they end up falling in love...but it doesn't go so smoothly. Some different things happen between the series that you'll have to find out by buying the series or reading the manga.
