Greetings and welcome to my small virtual dedication to the movie Labyrinth.

Contrary to Snow White and Cinderella, girls are not always looking for "Prince Charming", but rather a mysterious, powerful and somewhat exotic figure. The young heroine of Labyrinth, Sarah, was just such a girl - or so she thought.

Sarah often found herself trying to act out the heroine in the fairy tales and fantastic books and plays she read. This movie finds her playing the heroine in a play called "The Labyrinth" about a girl attempting to save her baby brother from being turned into a goblin by the Goblin King. But after being reprimanded and forced to stay home and babysit her stepbrother Toby, his crying frustrates her so much she wishes him away to the Goblin King, never for a minute expecting it to actually happen. When she discovers he's missing, she is confronted by the Goblin King and whisked to his realm in order to solve the labyrinth surrounding his castle. If she is unable to do so before time runs out, little Toby will be turned into a goblin and forced to stay in the labyrinth forever.

Those of you who are familiar with the movie all know what happens to Sarah along the way. She meets strange creatures and must make her way through the myriad twists, turns and unpredictable changes within the labyrinth itself. If you haven't seen this movie, let me recommend it to you. Rent it sometime and you'll see why so many fans enjoy watching it over and over again.

At this point, my page is by no means complete, but I will add to it as I am able. I do however have a few offerings which I think are not available on any other Labyrinth dedicated site: a themed word scramble and word search. If you enjoy them, please let me know. I may add more if these are popular enough. ----Humbly yours, Kyrthanna (3/22/00)

Since I was a member of these rings before they changed to the Yahoo webring, and I liked the pictures, I'm including them here, as a link to their main site (if I have it). - Kyrthanna 5/3/2001
