Ingredients
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon honey or sugar
1 1/2 cups buttermilk (reg milk can be used)
Instructions
Mix flour, oats, baking powder, and salt.Add oil, honey/sugar, egg, and buttermilk/milk to dry
mixture and mix well. Let sit 5 minutes. Fry on a hot griddle, flipping once, until golden brown.
Serve with syrup, jam, fruit, or cream.
