Tyger
The Tyger has the body of a wolf with a lion's tail and a mane, powerful jaws, and a long, pointed snout. This creature seems to be a medieval artist's version of what they thought a tiger looked like. It is called a tyger to distinguish itself from "normal" tiger's depicted in heraldry. The females tyger is said to be a fierce and protective mother with the fault of being easily hypnotised by her own reflection, her children able to be stolen by a man holding a looking glass. The tyger is sometimes shown staring into a mirror.
