BILL
This page is more about Bill and his interests
Bill has three children and five grandchildren by his first marriage.
He graciously took on the responsibility of helping me raise my three boys
when we got married a little over seven years ago.
We also collaborated on one darling boy William Malcom Douglas III.
He is a wonderful and loving husband and I am very blessed to have him in my life.
Recently he took on the added responsibility of Texas Regent for the Clan Douglas Society of North America.
He is very excited about this calling.
Bill spends a lot of his free time building WWII scale model dioramas.
He is very good at it and puts a lot of character and detail into his work.
He also enjoys putting together model train displays.
He will be starting a new one shortly.
Bill has recently become very interested in researching his own genealogy.
He is especially working on his Douglas line.
He is currently stuck trying to find the parents of a John B. Douglas.
Some of his favorite genealogy web sites are:
The USGenWeb Project
Family Search
Genealogy Portal
Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site
Bill is very interested in Scotland and Scottish things.
We would like to visit there someday soon.
Bill even dreams of living there one day.
Perhaps a sheep farm in the Highlands,
or a little Bed and Breakfast by a loch.
He loves to where his kilt to the festivals. He has two of them. One in the ancient and one in the modern tartan. The boys even have their own.
