1 1/2 lb. pork
2 lb. cooking apples (Rome Beauty is one of the best.)
3 large onions
1 T brown sugar
3/4 c  water
3/4 c cream
1 c Seasoned flour (salt, pepper, garlic...)
1/4 c Butter

Chop meat and onion into 1-2 inch pieces. Melt the butter and saut� the onion until tender. Remove from pan. Toss the meat in seasoned flour (coat both sides!) and brown quickly in butter. Place onions, meat, water and sugar in a pot and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours. Peel, core and chop apples. Add to pot. Continue cooking until apples are just cooked but not too mushy. Add cream and heat through. DO NOT BOIL! (Cream burns quickly, so be careful at this step!)
