Big Red meditating. BR is wearing a black wifebeater and black martial arts pants with hair in a pony tail. Cross legged, hands over knees, eyes closed. He's sitting next to a door marked "Training Room". Someone has used a red marker to add the words "Super Secret" above "Training" with a ^. Similarly, the words "Of Death and Destruction!" are written below. A whiteboard on the wall next to the door, above BR's head, says in black marker, "The (super secret) training room (of death and destruction) is being used by: __ until: __." The blanks are filled in with red marker to say "Ultra Cat 9!" and "5 AM" respectively. The marker is hanging next to the whiteboard on a string. Probably this panel is relatively dark/dim lighting.

Big Red telling Renee to get out of the training room. BR stands, back to us, in front of the open door, pointing at the whiteboard with his left index finger and pointing over his right shoulder with his right thumb. Renee is inside the door, eyebrows drawn in and mouth open with pointy teeth showing (means she's pissed off.) Her tail is lashing behind her and her arms are thrown up in front of her as she attempts to wrangle more time. Renee is wearing her usual grey tank top and black martial arts pants and is noticeably sweaty.

Renee is walking down the hall, side to us, yawning and covering her mouth with one hand, towel draped over her shoulders, tail twitching. BR has gone through the door and rummaging through some stuff on the shelves in the back. The whiteboard now reads "Big Red" and "7 AM".

In the training room: Big Red is standing between two Super Fighting Robots, both of which are in fighting Muay Thai stances, bouncing back and forth. A Jet Ball can be seen in the background, shooting up from the floor, and BR has another one , side to us, throwing it up (it has just left his hand.)

Big Red, face to us, is ducking a Jet Ball which shoots from the top left to the bottom right of the panel. He is simultaneously blocking a punch from the SFR on his left (our right) and punching the SFR in front and to our left, who has blocked with both forearms. Big Red's right foot is forward and his stance is deep.

Big Red, face ~45 degrees, to the right of the panel. SFRs are to either side of him, the one to the left punching, the one to the right with a round kick to his chest. Big Red is blocking both but is open to the stomach where a Jet Ball has struck him with some force - he is bent slightly backward at the stomach and appears to be losing his balance. His left foot is slightly forward, toes up, weight on the heel.

Big Red, face turned to our right, but body facing front. A Jet Ball has struck him from the left and turned his head. His left cheek is distended and his mouth is pursed, spit flying out. His right eye is squinted shut. Both arms are blocking to his left, where one SFR is punching him. Another SFR has attacked his undefended right leg and has buckled the knee. His shirt is torn and hangs off only his left shoulder.

Big Red has delivered a massive jumping uppercut to one of the SFRs, his legs slightly bent and feet pointing toward the floor, the SFR arcing back toward us and slightly to the left of the panel, head bent backward. Big Red's expression is fierce.

Upon landing from the uppercut, BR pivots to his left and bends over. A Jet Ball flies over his head, toward us and the still falling SFR, as BRs left leg sweeps around and removes the SFR's right, forward footing. Its arms flail as it begins to fall.

Big Red performs a double palm heel to the midriff of the falling robot, propelling it backward and into an arcing Jet Ball. Both are shoved a significant distance to the right of the panel.

Straightening and continuing his pivot, BR swings his right leg around in a crescent and connects with a careening Jet Ball. His arms are drawn in tight toward his chest. He's facing mostly the rear and to the left of the panel.

Big Red is putting the Jet Balls back on the shelves. The SFRs lay limp on the floor, sprawled on their backs. BRs shirt is gone and his chest is shiny.

Big Red is leaving the training room, which is now dark. The sign now reads "open". He leaves to the left of the panel, same as Renee.

Big Red stands in front of another door, hands on hips, to the left of the panel, back to us. He is wearing a new wifebeater which says "Ferrous Man Rules!" and blue jeans. Next to or on the door is a sign saying, "Glitterboy and Deathbringer's Room". These words have been crossed out with red marker. Above are the words "Super Glittery Sex Palace!" in red marker, also crossed out. Below is the crossed-out phrase "Magical Princess Play Pen", and below that, not yet crossed out, is "Cobra Command Center!" with a crude green picture of a snake wearing a blue helmet. Joyce stands in the door wearing her plaid pajamas and glasses, waving hi to BR, eyes squeezed shut with the ferocity of her happiness, mouth open in a big smile.

The Kitchen. Big Red is rummaging in the refridgerator while Joyce is mixing flour and stuff on the kitchen table. She is concentrating hard and is giving the mixing bowl the fisheye while sticking her tounge partly out. The Ripper is crouched in the shadows above the fridge, polishing the shiny end of a silencer pistol and grinning. He's wearing sunglasses and a black trenchcoat and little is visible. Joyce has changed into some sort of cute schoolgirl outfit and pigtails and her glasses are gone.

Big Red is seated at the table, eating cereal. The front of his shirt shows a red robot figure with flames coming out of its feet and a big outstretched fist. The cereal box, Super Fiber Crunch, is on the table. The spoon looks ridiculously small in Big Red's hand as he reads the back of the cereal box. Also on the table is a package which reads, "Super Protien Muscles Mix 7900!" and a suspicious glass of frothy crap is next to BR's bowl. Joyce is bent over, removing something from the oven. The Ripper is aiming his pistol at BR and grinning even wider.

Big Red has finished his cereal and has thrown his head back as he chugs the weight gain crap. The Ripper has fired his pistol and the bullet flies through the cereal box, blowing cardboard and fiber flakes all over the table. Joyce stands triumphantly holding a tray of steamy muffins over her head. She is wearing an apron but no hot pads and the oven is red hot. She is also wearing a big grin and has her eyes squeezed shut in happiness again.

Joyce is wrapping the muffins up on the table in a checkered sheet while smiling. Big Red is washing his dishes in the sink. The ruined cereal box has been removed from the table and the Ripper is vanishing through a ceiling panel above the fridge, only one foot visible.

Big Red has left the ATHENA building and is in a small enclosed courtyard lawn with a tree and some plants and stuff. He has a big dufflebag over his left shoulder and is still barefoot, facing the right of the panel.

Big Red is sitting on the grass, fastening giant leg weights onto his ankles, right leg first. The dufflebag lays open and shows more weights inside. The weight says "100 lbs".

Big Red now has large weights on each wrist and both ankles and is pulling tight the knot on a wide black belt over his waist which holds a number of large metal bars in little sleeves. The wrist weights say "50 lbs" when visible.

Big Red is doing forms - still facing right, he is in a deep forward stance with left foot front, doing a curved down high-block/punch with his right hand and a curving up side-block/punch with his left hand, leaning forward slightly.

Big Red has spun to face the left, back to us, and is balanced on his right leg, left foot tucked behind his right knee, right fist extended straight up and left fist out in front in a low block.

Big Red faces us, hands outstretched and open to both sides palm down, up on the toes of his left foot, right foot bent around in front of his crotch with instep upward.

BR faces right in Devil Bug stance, right foot forward.

Big Red has removed his shirt and is spraying himself in the face with a garden hose. His right eye is squinted against the blast.

Big Red is back inside the ATHENA complex and is standing in front of another door, back to us. He is now wearing a blue shirt that says "Retard Law" on the back. This door says "Harbinger and AMEE" but also has, in red marker, "E-vey! E-vey! E-vey!" in several places. Evey is standing in the door in boxers and a long grey Tshirt and his long hair is hanging down. He looks sleepy.

The Shop. Evey and BR are now wearing white lab coats over their clothes. In the foreground is a table with a small box labeled, "Sectoid Artifacts, Purpose Known." In the background are five or six giant lockers with more to the sides, each labeled "Sectoid Artifacts, Purpose Unknown." One of them is open and has a bunch of weird sectoid shit hanging halfway out. Evey is on the right side of the panel and faces left, toward Big Red. Evey is holding some unidentified piece of junk with wires and stuff hanging off with his left hand, and pointing at it with his right index finger. The object is glowing and giving off sparks. Big Red stands to the left, looking at Evey, hands on hips. Evey's tounge is sticking out with concentration. At the top of the panel is a clock which is reading about 10:00.

Evey is sitting in front of a computer, typing away, tounge still sticking out (but his back's to us so you probably can't tell.) BR is facing us and him, pointing to a large whiteboard which is covered with various high energy physics equations and diagrams. BR's mouth is open and seems to be explaining something. In the background a large brown-liquid-filled tube is visible which contains a sectoid with part of its head caved in. Several posters or charts may also be visible which diagram things like "Nuclear Science Made Easy!" or "Gravity Fields and You". Maybe some books on black holes and quantum mechanics or whatever too.

Big Red is standing in front of another bedroom door, this one labeled "Aranae". Norris is standing in the door in pajamas, but is wearing his frosted glasses and has his towel over one shoulder. Also barefoot. Norris looks sleepy.

Big Red and Aranae are outside in the grassy courtyard, face to us, meditating. BR is merely cross legged on the ground but Aranae is in a full lotus and is levitating about half a foot off the ground. A is wearing his black jumpsuit and would be sitting on his towel if he was touching the ground.

BR and A are facing each other doing some kind of chi pushing hands exercise. Big Red is sweating somewhat and is grimacing but Norris appears completely calm. Norris has his towel draped over his right shoulder.

Big Red is standing back in front of Glitterboy's door. This time Glitterboy stands in the doorway and looks pretty wasted. There should be little bubbles rising from his head and shit. Only one eye open. Wearing blue boxers and nothing else, hair messed up.

The Kitchen - Big Red is standing next to the microwave pushing buttons on it with his left hand while holding a stack of three TV dinners on his right hand, labeled "Hungry Guy". Glitterboy is wearing a bathrobe and pink bunny slippers over his boxers and is rummaging in the fridge. Amy is frying something on the stove. An open box labeled "Pure Cane Sugar" sits on the table along with a cereal bowl and spoon. Amy is wearing a Tshirt and jeans and has the same apron on that Joyce wore earlier. Also on the table is Joyce's tray of muffins, some of which are now gone.

Big Red and Sean sit at the table eating while Amy continues to cook. Big Red has already gone through three TV dinners and is eating the fourth, mouth opened wide. About ten empty coke cans sit in front of Sean and he is pouring another one into the cereal bowl with one hand and pouring sugar with the other. There is already a big mound of sugar in the bowl and nothing else.

The Living Room: is a mess. The couch should have all kinds of crap all over it, dishes and silverware and nintendo games and comics. The Ripper sits on the left side of the couch with a nintendo paddle in his left hand, furiously pushing buttons. His right hand is extended into the air and is pumping up and down triumphantly. Aranae sits on the right side and is levitating in the air, arms crossed, playing nintendo with his feet. He seems perfectly calm. There should be a little coffee table with more crap on it if it will fit in the panel. At the door Glitterboy is standing in a glittery gold top and black rubber pants, grinning a shiny smile and waving. Joyce is attatched to his neck with her right arm and has her feet around his waist, and is waving and smiling with eyes squinted over his left shoulder. Big Red stands with back to us, waving goodbye.

Big Red is now looking at Norris who has moved over to take Bill's spot. The Ripper is no where to be seen. Norris is holding up a video game package (with his foot), opened at the top, labeled "Lethal Fighters 9" and pointing to the screen with his left hand. Big Red stands with hands on hips.

Big Red is now sitting on the couch where Norris was, while Norris has moved to the left of the panel and continues to play with his feet. BR is playing with his left hand and has a sketch pad open on his right leg. He is making notes with his right hand and peering intently at the TV screen. The Ripper can be seen peeking around the right side of the panel and is holding a blowpipe to his lips, pointed at Big Red.

Same scene, the Ripper has vanished. Norris is looking at Big Red, who is pulling a dart from the side of his neck with a look of annoyance.

Big Red stands in front of another bedroom door. This one has no name formally written on it but has about a thousand red ones crossed out - "Wham!", "Ninja Cat!", etc. Most have exclamation points. The last one crossed out is "Sex Kitten". Below that is one which has not yet been crossed, out, "Ultra Cat 9!". Renee is standing in the door in a flannel plaid shirt and sweat pants. She looks sleepy.

The Training Room. Big Red is tying ridiculously large boxing gloves onto his hands and already has something similar on both feet. The gloves say something like "Super Kinetico-Absorbo Gloves", probably not all visible at once. Renee is wearing her grey tank top and black gi pants again and is stretching like only a cat can. The Ripper is sharpening a knife and grinning with lots of teeth, and Aranae is frowning at him, one hand under his chin.

Big Red vs Everybody! Big Red has punched at the Ripper who easily ducks the blow and is swinging a round kick at BR's knees. Renee is punching BR in the tummy and Aranae has snapped his towel over BRs outstretched right arm.

Aranae has trapped BRs right arm with his towel and is pulling back on it with all his weight. Renee has latched on to Big Red's neck with both arms and is simultaneously biting the top of his head and rabbit-kicking his collarbones with both feet. Her tail is sticking straight out. Big Red has his left hand to his neck and is trying to dislodge her while the Ripper is delivering a massive body blow to his midriff in a classic boxer stance (hands) and a deep lunge (lower body).

Big Red has dropped his left knee to the ground and ducked, pushing one shoulder forward, and Renee is flying over his shoulders upside down, at the Ripper, who is trying to dodge. Aranae continues to hold BR's right arm but looks worried.

Renee is lying on her back, having just landed on the back of her neck, limbs and tail splayed. The Ripper is circling around to the Big Red's left side while BR has twisted to throw a deep punch at Aranae. Aranae has jumped in a somersault over Big Red and his punch, and has released his towel hold.

Aranae has landed on Big Red's left side and swept out with his towel, trapping BR's left leg. Big Red is simultaneously blocking charging punches from the Ripper and Renee, who has quickly recovered.

Big Red has swung a furious glove-clad left fist at Aranae, who is ducking and delivering a side kick to BRs midriff, legs split overhead in a display of flexibility. Big Red's pivot has also attempted to strike the Ripper with a round house, but the Ripper has pulled his head back and caught the foot with his right hand with a look of contempt on his face. His left hand has thrown his knife underhand and it is bouncing off Big Red's right pec. Renee has landed in a handstand in front of Big Red's right side.

Renee's inverted stance allows her to trap Big Red's right arm and shoulder in a scissor lock. The Ripper has charged in with a shoulder block and caught BR in the chest and Aranae is standing up, pressing his hold on BRs left leg up and back, forcing him off balance in conjunction with the Ripper's attack.

Big Red is lying face down on the floor with the Ripper holding one leg up in a WWF hold. Renee is laughing with one hand pointing and Aranae is toweling sweat from his forehead, while Big Red looks disgusted and bored, one hand under his chin.

Big Red is alone in the training room, wearing the various oversized weights, doing chinups on a bar. His shirt is gone.

Big Red now doing pushups on two fingers and a thumb from his right hand, still wearing the weights. Glitterboy is visible in the doorway from this view, mouth open as he talks, both hands doing little gunpoints at BR. Joyce is also visible, trying to balance a giant stack of comics and a couple of shopping bags.

Glitterboy's room: Glitterboy and Big Red reading comics, lying on stomachs. Glitterboy has the big stack next to his head (right) and is drinking coke with a bent straw. One comic open in front of him. Big Red has one comic to his right, which says "Dance Man!" and is reading another one. He has the drawing pad back in his right hand and is taking notes again and making some kind of open chi hand with his left hand. He is now wearing a green shirt.

Glitterboy's stack of comics has moved from his right to his left. He is drinking another coke and has five empty cans in front of him. Big Red is still on the same comic but has turned the page. He is making a dragon claw hand now and still taking notes, biting his lower lip.

Big Red is back in the kitchen. He and Renee are cooking ramen noodles on the stove and have about fifteen packets next to the stove. The muffin tray is empty. There is also a stack of three or four tuna cans on Renee's side of the stove. The back of BRs shirt can now be seen and has a cartoon drawing of some martial artists powering up.

Big Red is holding the pot of steaming noodles with no hot pads, facing right. Renee is pointing to the Living Room (right) and jumping up and down with excitement while also indicating her watch on her left wrist. Big Red is staring at the pot and does not notice that the ceiling panel above him is gone and a curved piece of rope is lowering down.

Renee has left the kitchen. Big Red stands in the door on his way out. A noose is around his neck and is connected to a rope which stretches back to the Ripper who is laying on the table, holding on and scowling with a lot of teeth. Big Red is looking back at the Ripper looking slightly worried.

The Living Room. Renee sits to the left and is bouncing up and down on the couch, pumping both fists in the air and yelling with eyes shut. Big Red is blowing on the pot of noodles, sitting on the right side of the couch. the front of his shirt says "DragonsphereQ".

Living room, view reversed: now we can see the TV which is also covered with video game equipment and other junk. Renee is pumping one fist and eating out of the pot with chopsticks in her left hand. Big Red has his sketchpad open and is ready to take notes with his right hand again. The TV screen says "DragonsphereQ" and has a picture of a cartoon chinese dragon with a bunch of purple balls and martial artists flying around.

same view. The TV now says "coming next week..." Renee is laying back spread-eagled on the couch with a big full tummy. The pot is empty and Big Red is looking up from his notes at Evey who has just come in to the room. Evey is pointing down the hallway (left) and is wearing his trenchcoat and sword.

The Training Room: Evey and Big Red stand facing us, Evey holding his sword in right hand, BR holding Eddie in right hand, both in identical stances, left foot forward, 2nd sabre position (overhead/hi block).

Evey and BR are sparring and both have removed their shirts and Evey's trenchcoat. Evey (left panel) has his teeth bared and is sweating heavily as he tries to hold his sword's position away from his body against BR's press with Eddie. BR is right and is bearing down on Evey, right foot back, left knee raised, both hands on Eddie, swung down from his right shoulder.

BR is balancing on Eddie and the black bat in a handstand and wobbling notciably. Evey is wiping sweat from his forehead with left hand and pointing out the door (right.)

The lab: Evey and BR have put their shirts back on and the lab coats. Evey is pointing to a whiteboard labeled "Super Big Red Improvements" with technical specs all over it. Big Red is wearing sunglasses and is hunched over the desk he is seated at, soldering some parts on a circuit board.

The living room: The Ripper is on the couch playing nintendo again. He is bouncing up and down and shaking his left fist in the air and frothing at the mouth angrily while frantically punching buttons. Glitterboy is facing half away from the TV (right) and has the nintendo controller behind him in his right hand, fingers blurred. In his left hand he is holding a coke and drinking out of a straw again. To his right are BR and Joyce. Joyce is wearing her pajamas and glasses again and is waving goodbye and looking sleepy. Big Red is just waiting.

Glitterboy, Renee, and Big Red are all on the couch. Renee is skinny again and looks excited and Glitterboy is grinning and making fists. Big Red is examining a video box labeled "Deadly Fighting Championship XXVII".

Glitterboy is drinking a coke, Renee is pantomining the fight and yelling, and Big Red is taking notes again.

Glitterboy and Renee are now playing nintendo. Renee is bouncing and yelling much like the Ripper but without the froth. Glitterboy is drinking a coke with his right hand and looks bored. About six coke cans now in front of him. Big Red is leaving the room.

The training room: Big Red is in a boxer stance and is punching a big metal punching bag with the logo at the top, "Ultra ATHENA Titanium Punching Bag". His shirt is gone again.

The bathroom: Big Red wearing a towel around his waist, another around his head, brushing his teeth. A bottle on the sink says "Industrial Strength Rust Remover".

Big Red's bedroom. Big Red is lying in bed, sheet askew, hand over head, one leg lying off the bed. Big Red is wearing flannel pajama bottoms and no shirt. His teeth are bared.

Big Red is now on his stomach. The sheet is almost off the bed. Arms and legs sprawled. His eyes are squinted and his teeth are bared.

Big Red sitting on the side of the bed, holding his chin in both hands and looking depressed.

Big Red is now wearing his wifebeater/gi combo and is eating some kind of energy bar.

Same scene as first - Big Red meditating next to the training room. The sign now says, "Megakitty!" and "5 AM".

Credits: This textless style was partly inspired by an episode of Cerebus the Aardvark called "The Morning After" or something like that.
