Oh how clever you can be

Oh how clever you can be,

Exclaiming causes for a fee.

Fit, with writ word, a page of rage

And pass it off as artistry.

Oh how clever you can be

Parading phrases in fancy solemnity.

A chorus of cacophonous columns,

Fists raised, voicing cloaked cliches

Oh how clever you can be

testifying your stultifying testimony,

swear songs wore weary with apathy,

That we see now your fallacy.

Oh how clever you can be

catch-cries, slogans, mockery,

Missives masked in sympathy.

Your words pour forth,

Displayed to dirt ,ingrained and dated

peurile, sated.

But oh how clever we can be

Hurting heroes with savagery.

Harsh, hurt, haste, hush, oh heartily

Souls scoured,

Thoughts fade......emphatically.
