The day's progression included a visit with the 79th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment.

The Visit began on a friendly enough note. His Lairdship was interviewing the members of the 79th as part of his research for his upcoming book on MacRogues in the American Civil War.

In the course of conversation it came out that the MacRogues come from southern Scotland.
