Talks to-day
England wants to join the Scotts!
To-day
in The mega city of Dundee, the representatives of the countries of England
and York continued talks with the ministers of the King of Scotland for
confederation.
The English representatives said they were optimistic that an arrangement
could be worked out. They cited the long and ancient links that the Scotts
have always had with the English. They noted that in the distant past when
the Scotts were being hard pressed by the barbarian Irish, the English
rushed their armies in to the Highlands. They also noted that when the
ancient Scotts were in a position of over population, they were more than
happy to provide lands around the world that they had selflessly bought
from the native inhabitants.
When questioned by the press, Mrs. Quan McKee the Scottish ambassador said
that she was sure that; "Appropriate thanks would be forth coming from
the Scotts for all that England had done for them in the past."
The press secretary for the King, Mr. O'Sing pointed out that the earlier report
that the King said the talks were going well was a misquote. The King said
"The talks were on-going".
The minister for external affairs for Ireland, Brendan Smit issued a strong
protest at the U.N. to-day over a remark made by the English that the Irish
were barbarians, he said that; "The remark was out of line and the Irish Free State was re-thinking
its food aid policy in the Europa area for the next year". There has been
no word yet from London, but the First Citizen of York, Citizen Piggelswit
said that; "The remark came as a complete surprise to me, and that York strongly
disagrees with it."
