Dream Work

You've chosen to partake in a journey of one of the most least understood areas of our human lives! Be prepared it's going to be a long and strange journey, but well worth it!

Dreams consist of so much! More often then not we tend to give them more credit then what they are really worth. Many people think that their dreams are premonitory dreams, I'd say that about 95% of the time they aren't. Don't go looking for something that just isn't there. You'll only become more confused then necessary!

Dreams are the part of our subconscious that we don't deal with during they day. We have dreams because your brain is still processing even though we've gone to sleep and wrapped up our day. Every once in a while we have one of those dreams that either (a) just won't go away or (b) really sticks with us and we can't forget. Those are the dreams that this page is devoted to. I'm going to take you on a quick walk thru of dream work, and on the linked page a brief description of what certain things in your dreams mean.

Looking Into Our Dreams; More often then not we look to our dreams, expecting them to mean something, well sometimes they do!I'm going to give you an instance of such a dream.
"I'm hanging out with my friend, sight seeing on the west coast. We decide to go into the store to grab a pop, leaving the camera in the car. When we emerge from the car, I notice someone getting in our car to steal my camera, so I get into the car and try to get it from this person. My dream flashfowards to a scene. I am atop a horse, surrounded by several men and women on a mountain. They aren't physically binding me, but I feel trapped nonetheless. I feel as though I must get away and so I spur my horse up the mountain and through the snow. I know I am being followed yet I know exactly how to get away (this isn't a mountain I've been on before). Somehow I hide myself and my horse in some trees. I don't know how I'm not seen, because this horse is huge, the size of a Clydesdale. My captors go right by me, not seeing me, then I wake up."
When I had this dream I had just been given some very important and scary information. This dream really bothered me. I didn't comprehend that I was indeed running from this fear in my real life.

"You know a dream is like a river, ever changing as it flows..and a dreamer's just a vessel that must follow where it goes..."

Ok, so where, you may ask does this leave you? You can get so many interpretations to a dream, and they can all be right or they can all be wrong! No book is going to tell you what your dream means, I don't mean that they can't help however. Dream symbolism is very powerful and meaningful. Great decisions have been made on dreams alone. So I urge you to become educated on the subject, read the books, look into the web sites, go to the dream work newsgroups, taylor it to fit your needs!! It's all in YOUR head after all! :0)
