Doug Spencer's Home Page

Who Is Doug?
Welcome to the personal home page of Doug Spencer aka Your Friend Doug on Mplayer. Mplayer, hmmm...Well, Mplayer is where I hang out on the net. I like to play Spades most often, in fact, I think that is the only Mplayer game I play anymore. My son Scott aka Scottish1 on Mplayer, has a page elsewhere in FortuneCity. I will add a link to it if you care to visit him. Scott is more of a social hound than I am on Mplayer, and he often frequents the Chat Lobby of Mplayer, when he isn't getting some cheap thrill from fragging people in a game called Quake on Mplayer. If you catch him in the Spades Lobby, try him out sometime. He is ALMOST as good as I am.
About Doug
About me? I am a 56 year old single white male. I stand 5'-3, and am a bit on the chubby side. Then again, at this point in my life, I am not worried about impressing some attractive young person. I was adopted when I was very young, but I do know that I am of Scottish heritage among others, so I guess this is as good a place as any to put my home. I used to run a computer business in Colonial Heights, VA., but a bad group of circumstances ended that for me. I am now an MIT for a Pizza Business. It might not be the best job, but it pays halfway decent, so I'm not complaining.
What Is Doug Interested In?
I am hopelessly addicted to Mplayer Spades, but I do have external interests as well. I have a great love for music, and am an accomplished organ player. I have an old Hammond Electric Organ which I inhereited from my mother, and I CAN play it. I'm not the athletic type. I'll leave that department to my son, even though he has become considerably more shiftless since his addiction to the internet took hold. I am especially in favor of good foods and intelligent conversation, and I enjoy a decent rented video on occasion. I think that is enough for now, but I have made a second page left under construction, in case I think of something more later. In the meantime, be good to each other and I'll see you on Mplayer. Don't forget to sign my guestbook. *** Credit is due where credit is earned. Special Thanks to my son Scott for making this home page for me. ***
