              Norma Rogers Tornabene was born in Carthage, Texas. Her early education was in Texas and she graduated from Big Spring High School. She received her degree from the University of New Mexico and a Master's from  McNeese State University, Lake Charles, Louisiana. She has traveled extensively, living in seven states and Japan, Scotland and Germany. In 1970, she was appointed Dean of Women at McNeese State University. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband, Louis. 

               Norma as studied art at McNeese State University, the University of Maryland and Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. Most recently, she has practiced art with Pat Durgin, Jan Keefer and David Schwindt in Albuquerque.

               Norma has exhibited her work in several juried shows and  has received awards for her paintings.
