I am currently working as Senior Software Engineer, Team Lead with CardBASE Technologies Ltd., the world's leading smart card company providing secure e-Commerce solutions.
I have achieved three successful projects:

1. ChipCASH - British Airways GlobalCASH Management System

ChipCASH is an Airline product which uses smart cards to compensate passengers for Denied Boarding Compensation (DBC), downgrades and ex-gratia baggage payments. It is also available to overseas staff of a participating airline for advance expenses, petty cash and emergency cash payments.

Value is loaded onto the smart cards using hand held Point of Sale (PoS) devices or station PCs. This value can be claimed by taking the smart card to a designated bureau that pays the electronic amount on the card in cash - on production of the correct identification - for example, a passport.

Data from stations and bureaux is reconciled by CardBASE Technologies at its Transaction Processing Centre (TPC) in Dublin. The generated files are sent to the respective participating airline Card Operations Centres. From there, the files are processed internally and payments are made to the relevant bureau or station.

In the project team of 16 members, I was leading the developments of Station PC (MFC), Thyron Docking (MFC), Remote Upgrade (TCP/IP, SITA), TPC Manual Transactions (VB), Reports (Crystal Reports), Release Build (InstallShield) and ISO 8583 message communication. I also handled terminal devices such as Gemplus GCR, Thyron and VeriFone in this project.

2. CrewCASH - Airline Crew Allowances Management System

CrewCASH is also an Airline product which uses smart cards to manage crewmembers’ allowances.

Leading the development of Crew Center self-service, I worked on requirement analysis (UML), detailed design and architecture (Rational Rose 2000e, Rational SoDA), and demo (MFC).

3. Evaluating Test Tools for C++ and Java

I have evaluated Rational Purify & PureCoverage, NuMega DevPartner Studio (BoundsChecker, TrueTime, TrueCoverage), Software Research TestWorks, LDRA Testbed, Bullseye C-Cover, ATTOL Coverage, IPL Cantata++, MMS JCover, and Mercury Interactive Astra.

1. MAPAR - Credit Card Transaction Processing System

MAPAR supplies data backing and recovering services for credit card transactions by exchanging information between Oracle Database and text file through Access Database.

In the development group, my role was to design and code plug-in DLLs (MFC).

2. HMS - Hostel Management System

As the chief developer, I was involved in the full life cycle of this project, working on requirement analysis, detailed design, programming (VB), testing and deployment.

3. FACTS - Financial Advisor Customer Tracking System

FACTS helps Finance Consultant to manage Finance information and customer details stored in Access Database.

I was involved in the system test phase. My duty was to test, fix bugs (VB) and revise the whole product.
