One show I did enjoy while it was on for Summer Replacement from Fox was ROAR, a show set between myth and history (with more of a leaning toward myth) in Ireland of the early 5th century AD.  It was created by Shaun Cassidy and Ron Koslow and starred Heath Ledger, John St. Ryan, Vera Farmiga, Lisa Zane, and Sebastian Roche.

I did something I rarely do, and that is join the Universal ROAR Netforum to chat about the show with other people who enjoyed it.  In time, we developed into Clans based on either the time period, or the characters, or both.  I joined the Clan Longinus.  We created some fan-fic as well.  This is my contribution to the ROAR Forumland Chronicles.

We hope that Fox picks up its option on the show, but it doesn't look like they will.  Then again, though, there's always USA, the Sci-Fi channel, and so on.
