Little More About Myself:
I am
a 19 year old young lady living in Canada... And from; Washington State.
My parents got a marriage dissolution and now mom is married to a wonderful
Canadian!! A six foot four Canadian who weighs 250 pounds. I just finished
my first full school year here for '99-'00. Summer
started,
I am home in Canada looking forward to making more new friends.
I have
one full brother and two half brothers. My full brother is handicapped
from
being poked in the eye with a hypodermic needle when my mom was getting
an amniocentesis before he was born. The doctor performing the procedure
would not listen to my mom... as she cried and told him where her baby's
head was ... he held the X-ray photo upside down. Now my brother is 21
and has right hemispherical spasticity so he cannot walk correctly. He
had brain surgery 15 years ago for his continuous (both clinical and sub
clinical) epileptic seizures. My brother also had a heart problem.
A blood
vein was in the wrong place... from inside a heart artery, through
the
heart valve and into the heart chamber. Therefore the valve didn't
open
and close properly and caused his heart to beat too fast. This condition
is called Tachycardia or "rapid heart rate". His heart rate would go up
to over 200 BPM (beats per minute). It took two tries for the University
of Washington to fuse it with microscopic laser surgery. After all of this
surgical stuff, he now sees out of the left side of his right eye (as always)
and is walking better has no heart problems. His name is Patrick. My mom,
Pat and I went through all that together. My half brother, Dave, has two
beautiful little girls and a wonderful family. He lives in California and
is a black belt in Butokukan Karate. My other half brother George was engaged
to a beautiful Japanese woman and then went to Mexico (Japan and Mexico
both company related trips) and found a beautiful Mexican lady and got
married. She had a son from a relationship that didn't work out. They had a divorce over religious reasons. George works at Nintendo
in Washington and lives near his work and sleeps till about 12:00 noon
when he can, unless we get in touch with him sooner by phone.
I am part Irish, Swiss, Native American, and German. What a mix huh? My mom is Swiss and Irish my dad is Native American and German. I have been to my reservation in Taos, New Mexico. They make the most wonderful bread and the most spicy hot chili (I think) in the world. I haven't been there in a couple of years but I can remember the cool flowing stream that they drink out of and the rituals that they perform (death defying!) the wonderful artwork and the cooking :o). I hope to come back to see them.
