The characters described here are only the ones currently being used, and also only the ones who have been in the party and survived for at least 2 play sessions.

Loxocelese the Chicken Rider "Lox"
A pixie mage, has a mana filtering familiar which also serves as a steed. Lox is an unusualy intelligent pixie, but like most pixie's still holds the desire to play pranks, tricks, and assorted mischief on those smart enough to be annoyed by them. However, Lox is smart enough limit his pranks to minor nusances. The population of Shalor is so low that finding a good target for his tricks is very difficult, and if he annoys the few he has to the point where they forcibly drive him away he would be left with no one to torment. His favorite prank involves the sound spell, which he uses to mimic various noises caused by natural body functions.. farts, burps, snores, hiccups, nose whistles, lip smacking, and the like. He is also very fond of using the dye spell on the belongings of those nearby, examples include arrows, knives, food supplies, gloves, boots, and so on.
Lox is played by Tom

Othugra Huphup
Huphup is a slipshade who is quite abnormal. Where most slipshades are wholey evil beings, Huphup is not and in fact, his actions have thus far shown him to be generaly good of heart. Huphup has been adventuring on Shalor for a very long time, and has grown to be very powerfull. He is a powerfull mage, focusing heavily on combat related spells. His favorite form so far appears to be that of a Paruza demon, which is something of a cross between a human and a mosquito, but will usualy take the form of a goblin when his demonic nature needs to be concealed. Huphup was one of the Enders, the band of adventurers that awakened Maer and helped cast out Ulgezin from Shalor.
Huphup is played by Pat.

Rook
Rook is an orcish archer who has been adventuring for years and is one of the Enders. He is very strong, and skilled with a knife as well as a bow. Rook is truely good at heart, feeling a strong sense of duty towards his friends and the good beings of the world. Like all orcs, he is not particularly smart and so while his strength, skill, and reputation would certainly allow him to take a leading role in decision making of the party, Rook tends to sit back and let others do the thinking. Only in extreme situations where his morals are being severely trampled will he take a stand. Rook has developed a romantic interest in Jara, and is loyal and protective of her above all others. It is important to know that Rook is actualy a NON player character being run by the GM in order to keep him interested in, well, being the GM.
Rook is played by Matt, who is very good and staying impartial and fair with regards to Rook.

Hetrevin
Hetrevin is a knife wielding orc. Not too bright, but a solid fighter. Hetrevin is ambidextrous, strong, and durable making him an excellent front line fighter for the group. With a knife in each hand, he will be devestating in combat with time.
Hetrevin is played by Keith.

Jara
Another orc, Jara is a warrior pure and simple. Strong and tough, she wields a magical axe and is heavily armored. Jara tends to be blunt in her words and deeds. She tends seems to think violance is an appropriate solution to most problems, but in is in most cases easily talked into staying her temper while a less destructive solution is found. She has a romantic interest in Rook, and will sometimes act irrationaly in order to protect him.
Jara is played by Wendy.

Doc
Doc is a pathetic, pitiful creature that really has no reason left to live other than an absurdly irrational optamistic attitude. Born a goblin, Doc is now twisted wretch.. a survivor of a torture session prolonged with healing spells and potions. When he was rescued from his torturers, Doc was hanging from a wall by a spike through his one remaining arm.. the other was slowly and painfully removed from his body. Both his legs were also cruely removed, and both his original eyeballs currently reside in a jar on a table in a trophy room of a demonlords lair. Horribly mutilated, Doc begged the party to let him live while his co-prisoners who were similarly tortured begged to be put out of their misery. Doc knows a great many skills, and before his torture must have been quite a competant individual, but now has little chance to use his abilities. Unwilling to leave Doc to fend for himself in the wild, Rook insisted on bringing him with the party, and so Doc is carried about on Rook's back as the party marches on...
(Note-Doc has since had a healing spell cast upon him which regrew one of his eyes)
Doc is a non player character, which most of the party hopes to be rid of as soon as possible.

Deim
Deim is a traveling minstral, a bard. Extremely charismatic and well liked by everyone, the lute wielding Deim is able to play magical songs which can enhance the abilities of his friends or hinder those of his enemies. Prefering not to fight, Deim always tries to talk his way out of an unpleasant situation. The well learned bard is composing a great epic story, and so has joined our party to gather knowledge and experiences to aid him in this goal.
Deim is played by Todd.
