My Story

MY CHILDHOOD : I want to thank all those out there that are reading this story. I guess I will start with my childhood. This is going to be hard, but I'm going to try. My mother told me that as a baby I had scarlet fever. At the age of 6 I had my tonsils and adenoids removed. At the age of 7 I had appendicitis and the appendix ruptured. When it ruptured I went temporarily blind. It wasn't until two or three days latter that the Doctor put me in the hospital to have the appendix removed. By that time I was not expected to survive. I had an experience in the hospital that was unreal. As I slept I saw a flash of white light and then a feeling of total peace that I can't explain, this lasted for a little while and then I saw another flash of white light. For some reason I wanted to go back to the peace and I was no longer afraid to die. I was in the hospital solong that I had to relearn to walk. It was the next year that I got polio. I was lucky though, my parents worked as aids in a mental hospital, so the Doctor had them take care of me at home. He said that I would only get worse in the hospital. For a long time aftherwards I would keep getting a burning pain in my hips. Someone said it was rheumatism. I'm not sure about this, if it was. I also had all the childhood diseases and hay fever. I started having problems with my back then too. I will end this here. Thanks for your time. There will be more later.

AND GOD SAID NOT YET:

When I was a baby I got scarlet fever, and God said he's to young. When I was 7 I had appendicitis, and when I was heading for the pearly gates, God said go back your not ready yet. When I was 8 I got polio, and God said it's not time yet. When I was 20 I went to see a girlfriend and was awake for 2 days. On the way home late that night I fell asleep behind the wheel, God said you are headed into a semi-truck wake up, and when I woke up I saw the headlights of the truck just a few feet from me and I pulled back to my side of the road in time. When I was 24 I took my wife and first born fishing with a couple and their little boy. It was getting dark and our wives and children got in the car, it started rolling into the sand pit the wives jumped out and the other couple's boy was pulled out of the car, but my son was still in the car, in the back seat, when it went into the water, God said save him it's not his time. So I drove in the water and saved my son. When I was 30 I was riding my motorcycle to work and back. One day I was riding 90 miles per hour down the road, when I top a small hill at the bottom was a car and pick-up truck, half way down the hill, God said the car and truck are stopped on the road, I put the brakes on and God turned the bike side ways and when I stopped I was looking in the back of the truck, it was empty. When I was 39 I was driving home from work late at night. I was coming up on the railroad tracks and it was darker that usual, God slam my foot on the brakes and said it not your time yet, and I stopped just inches in front of the train crossing the road. So you see God has been walking with me hand in hand. He is my best friend. God bless.

MORE AND GOD SAID NOT YET:

I held back this one, you may get a cold shiver go down your back on this one. When I was 17 I got a carbuncle on my finger, and Dad took me to the Doctor to get it taken care of. While I was at the Doctor some good friends of mine were test drive one of my friends car that he just got going. They started to cross the railroad crossing, a blind crossing and was hit by a train. there were five of my friends in that car, and only one came out alive. It happen just three blocks from the Doctor's office. My Mom told us that they stop to pick me up just a couple of minutes after we left for the Doctor. God told my Dad to take to the Doctor, his time is not yet. Some of the girls in school told me they saw the accident and the bodies covered up, only the shoes were visible, and they thought that one of them was me, because one of the boys had the same kind of shoes I wore. God must of had me hit the PPS wall hard to slow me down to enjoy life and smell the roses. I guess it take the hard hit with the PPS wall to wake us A types up. God bless.
