Syndicate. |
JLofA 207-209 |

When the other members refuse to help him settle an international dispute,
Batman
resigns from the JLofA
to form the Outsiders.
|
B/Out 1 |
8.83 |
JLA/JSA 21. Note: This crossover featured the true
pre-Crisis origin of Black Canary II, revealing her as the daughter of the original B.C.,
whose memories were transplanted into her daughter upon her death. Johnny Thunder of
Earth-1 and the Crime Champions were the villains in this story. It is unlikely that this
event exists in post-Crisis continuity. |
JLofA 219-220 |
10-11.83 |
Superman entrusts
Batman with a sample of Kryptonite. |
(Action 654) |
(6.90) |
Batman and the original J.L. of A. unravel Intergang's attempt
to frame Superman for murder.
Note:
I consider this story an apocryphal mess. In this story, Batman says he's
already been entrusted with the Kryptonite sample following Superman's execution of the
Kryptonian criminals (Action # 654). Clearly, however, this story was meant to take
place in the satellite HQ era; this is the last possible time that could have occurred
(although Batman himself had already resigned). However, Action # 654 was clearly
published after Legends (and the formation of the new Justice League). The
appearance of the original 5 JLAers and the satellite HQ in 80-Page #
1 would be
impossible after the Crisis. One might argue that Superman's early post-Crisis
adventures were rather independent of the DCU; so it's OK to shoehorn it in here. Superman
Secret Files # 1 puts this "4 Years Ago," which doesn't work either. |
JLA 80-PAGE 1 |
(7.98) |
The League's satellite headquarters is destroyed by an alien invasion.
Note: This story was originally told as the Martian invasion
which returned J'onn J'onzz to Earth. This has been twice changed along with his origin in
the Martian Manhunter mini-series and the JLA Secret Files. |
JLofA 228-230 |
7-9.84 |
JLA/JSA 22: An early appearance of the Monitor and Harbinger.
Note: This team-up primarily involved
Superman, Wonder Woman (Princess
Diana, the pre-Crisis Wonder Woman of Earth-1), Flash
II and Supergirl (Kara Zor-El, the pre-Crisis Supergirl of Earth-1) vs. the Commander; it is unlikely that it exists in
post-Crisis continuity. Note: Written by Kurt Busiek. |
JLofA 231-232 |
