appleOne is the largest privately held employment agency in North America. My roll with this company expanded from the first day. Originally brought in to help develop full time placement and technology-based business, my roll grew to one of team leader and project manager.

• Establishment of the Downtown Chicago Office, finding the office space and securing lease terms.

SHS is an executive search firm that focuses on Technology and Medical Communications and Advertising. My roll Started as a recruiter for Telecommunications Sales, but I grew the team and expanded the focus to many areas of technology.

• Managed Business Development across the United States with both Fortune 500 companies and Start-Ups.

• Expanded focus of group to include Computer Software and Hardware, Programming and Application Development professionals.
• Pre screened and interviewed quality candidates on the phone for positions across North America.
• Worked with Director of Internet Services to help increase and maximize web traffic to reach top 5% of sites viewed in 2000.
• Developed database for maintaining contacts and information.
• Hired and trained team members to insure success.

Recruited qualified people for job opportunities in the downtown Chicago area in companies of all sizes and in industries such as marketing, real estate, legal, financial, software and advertising. While focusing mainly on administrative capacities, I also worked in areas such as accounting, account executive, account supervisor, human resources and office management. I developed and maintained relationships with some of the leading companies in Chicago and consulted with them on their needs and how to meet them.

Maintained quality of service for the newest facility in downtown Chicago. Assured that customers were given an excellent dinning experience in a wonderful atmosphere. Performed daily cash transactions and bookkeeping. Developed a stock tracking system that was adopted by all stores in the company. Hired, evaluated, mentored and terminated employees. Was in charge of all activities in the kitchen area.
