THE PEOPLE I HAVE MET
This year I had the opportunity to make a couple of trips and meet, face to face, a few of my on-line friends. The experience of meeting someone for the first time, yet knowing them inside out, is hard to put into words. I can only say they were all very positive experiences and can only hope to meet more of you. It makes the on-line friendship stronger, as when you see your friend type *S*, or *LOL*, you know what that smile looks like and what that laugh sounds like. And to hug someone for the first time and feel like you're hugging your best friend is a most incredible experience, and one I think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
So, here are pictures (in the order in which I met them) of the people I have hugged and kissed, who I have laughed with, who I have clinked wine glasses with and who mean the world to me.

You all know who this very special lady with me is. It's Tess_Lee_09 or Chrissy in real life. She was my friend in person before being my on-line friend, and has been one of the bestfriends a girl could ask for. We have spent a lot of time together, shared many of bottles of wine together, and share a bond that I will cherish forever. Love you Chrissy.

Well, here I am with Vegaskindaguy or Tim in real life. Tim and I have known each other for quite some time and I have to tell you, I was both nervous and excited about meeting him when Chrissy and I went to Las Vegas. Well, I quickly learned I had no reason to be nervous. This guy is terrific! He is kind, caring, honest, and one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. Here I am with Bunzoooo or Eric in real life. What a sweetheart he is! Eric was at the airport with Tim to pick Chrissy and I up on our first trip to Las Vegas. I've known Bunzooo for a long time and consider him one of my bestfriends as well. He's a terrific guy, has the brightest smile and is one hell of a dancer. Love you Eric.

And here I am with Got_Nick or Nick in real life. Nice guy, a real sweetheart and has a great sense of humor. However, when looking for a pic of him and I together, all I could find were ones where his face was blocking mine...hmmmmmmm You're terrific Nick, even though I never hear from you anymore !! If over the past year and a half, I had been granted a wish, it would have been to meet Roger, or Roger in real life.....lol. We've known each other on-line since spring of last year, and have remained close since the day we met. When he said he would be able to make our second trip to Las Vegas I was beside myself, as my wish had been granted. You'll see from the second Las Vegas Webpage, and my subsequent trip to England just how well we got along, and how dearly I love this man. I love his smile, his sense of humor, his caring heart and everything else about him. You have become a very important part of my life. I love you Roger.

And here I am with Boogies or Ben Bayley in real life. I met Ben when I went to England at the beginning of July. For a while there, it looked like he might not be able to meet up with Roger and I, but I kept bugging him, and he finally relented. He's a great guy, has a keen sense of humor, and will do anything for a lady. It was a pleasure to meet you Ben...... Love ya

And here I am with Storkie or Cheryl in real life. She and I have had a lot of fun on-line, and I've know her for quite some time. She moved to Ontario on July 17, 1999 and I met her at the airport for a farewell drink. We found one of those cheap photobooths and took the above picture. She is totally insane, has a great sense of humor and is a blast to drink with (on-line that is)..lol. Love ya stork....GET A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And here is Starrlite35 or Sherry in real life. Chrissy and I first met her for coffee at the beginning of July as she lives only about 5 minutes away for us. She's got a terrific sense of humor, an infectious laugh and is just an all round great person. Glad we met you Sherry........Love ya

What do you get when you combine an incredible sense of humor, a smile that's out of this world, intense eyes, and the most infectious laugh known to man??? Give up?? Well, you get Devils_Magic !! Dev was recently on a course at the University of British Columbia and Chrissy, Sherry and I went out to meet him for dinner and drinks. What a hoot ! And if you can't see it in this picture, I, FB actually made the Devil himself BLUSH!! Was a pleasure to meet you Dev and hope we get to meet again.... Love ya !! *Smiles*
This is Vancouver 44, aka Donna. It took us forever to finally get together even though she lives just a short distance away. We have lots in common and have become great friends and we get together whenever we can.. I even have my own room at her house .... lol *Cheers* Girlfriend !

This pic was taken at Donna's house shortly after New Year's Eve, when Bunz, Dev, Roger, myself, and Sherry went out to Donna's for pizza !
