ATTACK RINGS
The following is a list of recommended Attack Rings and their attack methods.
Some Attack Rings have more than one attack method-- for example, Draciel's
Attack Ring is capable of performing Extended Smash, and can also absorb and
deflect damage. The words in parentheses ( ) next to the Attack Ring names
indicate their main features. (Attack) means that it's strong at attacking;
(Attack/Endurance) means it's a strong attacker that also has good
Endurance; and so on. You get the idea.
Smash
The most common type of attack-- a simple head-on collision. The following
Attack Rings are best at dealing this kind of damage:
Auto Change Balancer (Attack)
Bistool/Ultimate Frostic Dranzer/Gekiryu-Oh (Defense/Attack)
Burning Kerberous (Attack)
Cyber Dragoon (Attack)
Dragoon V (Attack)
Dragoon V2 (Attack)
Dranzer F (Attack)
Dranzer V (Endurance/Attack)
Dranzer V2 (Endurance/Attack)
Driger S/Jumping Base (Endurance/Attack)
Driger V2 (Attack/Defense)
Flash Leopard (Attack/Defense)
Metal Dranzer (Attack/Endurance)
Seaborg 2 (Attack) Note: To activate smash attack, set Spin Gear to left spin.
Be careful, however-- the size of this attack ring may cause the Beyblade to overbalance easily.
Trygle (Attack)
Wolborg (Attack/Endurance) Note: To improve smash attack,
set Spin Gear to left spin.
Wolborg 2 (Attack)
Extended Smash/Grinding
Like a regular Smash, but lasts longer. Beyblades with free-spinning Attack
Rings (Galeon, Galman, etc.) are best at this, because the free-spinning part is
able to grab hold of the opponent and maintain contact.
Draciel (primarily Defense, but can latch on to opponents effectively)
Gaia Dragoon V (Attack)
Galeon (Attack)
Galman (Defense/Attack)
Kid/Master Draciel (Defense/Attack)
Kid/Master Dragoon (Attack)
Uppercut/Upper Attack
As the name implies, this type of attack hits opponents with an upward-striking
motion, catapulting them into the air for a short time and knocking them off
balance. This is best accomplished when the Attack Ring is placed on a low, flat
base such as Dragoon Storm's or Driger V's.
Trygle (Attack)
Kid/Master Dragoon (Attack)
Driger V2 (Attack/Defense)
Flash Leopard (Attack/Defense)
Wolborg 2 (Attack/Endurance)
Absorption
These Attack Rings absorb damage-- they can stand up to a rough beating, making
them ideal for Defense or Endurance customizations:
Bistool/Ultimate Frostic Dranzer/Gekiryu-Oh (Defense/Attack)
Draciel (Defense)
Draciel V2 (Defense/Attack)
Dranzer S (Endurance/Defense)
Dranzer V2 (Endurance/Attack)
Driger S/Jumping Base (Endurance/Attack)
Galman (Defense/Attack)
Kid/Master Draciel (Defense/Attack)
Roller Defenser (Defense/Endurance) Note: Take care with
this attack ring-- the rollers may snap off if it suffers repeated heavy damage.
Voltaic Ape (Defense/Attack)
Deflection
These Attack Rings, when struck, reflect the damage back at their opponent:
Bistool/Ultimate Frostic Dranzer/Gekiryu-Oh (Defense/Attack)
Draciel (Defense)
Dragoon V (Attack) Note: Deflection is better when Spin Gear is set to right spin
Dragoon V2 (Attack) Note: Deflection is better when Spin Gear is set to right spin
Draciel V2 (Defense/Attack)
Dranzer V2 (Endurance/Attack)
Driger V2 (Attack/Defense)
Flash Leopard 2 (Defense/Attack)
Kid/Master Dragoon (Attack)
Kid/Master Draciel (Defense/Attack)
Seaborg 2 (Attack)
Voltaic Ape (Defense/Attack)
Wolborg 2 (Attack)
NOT RECOMMENDED
The following Attack Rings are best avoided, as they break easily and/or aren't useful at all:
Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger (this is Bearing Stinger's full name)
Bump King (or Pumpking, as it's known in Takara circles)
Draciel S
Driger F
Master Dranzer
Master Driger/Knight Dranzer (these are actually the same Beyblade, it's just
that they're colored differently)
Metal Draciel
Wing Attacker
Wing Defenser
